Provisional Registration
Here below are listed the required documents for provisional registration of a vessel, which can be submitted to the Administration either in original or by e-mail. The provisional registration certificates are issued with validity of 6 (six) months, enabling the Shipowner to submit the required documents for the Permanent Registration.
1. APPLICATION FORM
The attached form should be completed as appropriate. Upon completion must be stamped and signed by ship’s owners
2. BILL OF SALE
Copy of Bill of Sale, where the name of the Shipowner is indicated, must be submitted to the Administration. The signature of sellers must be legalized by a notary, lawyer, consul, or any other official authority.
3. GOOD-STANDING CERTIFICATE
An updated good-standing certificate of the owning company of the vessel is required.
4. NON – ENCUMBRANCE OR DELETION CERTIFICATE
An updated Non – Ecumbrance or Deletion certificate from the vessel’s previous flag.
5. COPIES OF VESSEL’S REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES
Copies of Registration, Radio Station License and Minimum Safe Manning certificates of the vessel from the previous flag.
6. ITC’69
Copy of ship’s ITC”69 (International Tonnage Certificate 1969) all pages.
7. CONFIRMATION FROM RADIO ACCOUNTING AUTHORITY AND AAIC
Confirmation from Recognized Radio Accounting Authority (member of ITU) must be sent to this Administration, confimring that they have a valid contract with the Shipowner.
8 CONFIRMATION FROM CLASSIFICATION SOCIETY
Confirmation from Recognized Classification Society must be sent direct to the Administration, confirming that they will perform the necessary audits and will issue the relevant Class and Statutory Certificates.
9. CONFIRMATION FROM RECOGNIZED ORGANIZATION (RO) (if applicable)
Confirmation from Recognized Organization (RO) must be sent direct to the Administration that they will perform the necessary audits and will issue the relevant ISM/ISPS certificates.
10. SAFE MANAGEMENT AGREEMENT(if applicable)
Copy of the Safe Management Agreement between the shipowner and the managing company, duly signed by both parties is required.
10. APPLICATION FOR CONTINUOUS SYNOPSYS RECORD(CSR) (if applicable)
Copy of application form, filled-in, signed and stamped by the shipowners/managers must be sent to this Administration.
11. CONTINUOUS SYNOPSYS RECORD FROM THE PREVIOUS FLAG (if applicable)
Copy of the last issued CSR from vessel’s previous flag is required.
12. DECLARATION OF COMPANY SECURITY OFFICER(CSO) (if applicable)
Filled-in, signed and stamped Declaration by the Company Security officer is required.
